WHAT TO EXPECT

STRETCH
Stretch is incredibly beneficial to any dancer and creates not only flexibility and strength but also fluidity of movement. The more flexible you are as a dancer the more versatility this will give you. Not only is it important to maintain flexibility it also a good way to keep your fitness and stamina levels up. We also focus on building core muscles, technique and corner work.
CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Contemporary dance embodies ballet, modern, jazz and lyrical. It uses a technique such as ballet as its fundamentals and creates many more movements that do not adhere to the strict rules of ballet and modern. There are different categories of contemporary dance such as Contemporary Ballet and Contemporary Jazz.
