Inter/Senior Ballet/Pointe/SMC
Ballet classes are split into two groups by Level and experience Inters (11-14), Seniors (15+). As well as Ballet we offer a specialised subject which is Soft Musical Comedy (SMC) and are the only school in Wiltshire who offer this truly magnificent style. We also offer Pointe work for students Age 15 and above providing they are at the expected Level.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Ballet is the most important subject in a dancer’s life. It is the foundation of all styles and is an absolute must for anybody wanting to make a career of dance. Ballet not only provides strong technique but also teaches discipline and mannerism which can be carried through to all aspects of life such as interviews as well as a dance career. Soft Musical Comedy is a genre of dance from the 1930’s and 40’s and takes inspiration from the likes of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Similar to a lyrical feel SMC creates fluidity and musicality in a dancer like no other subject.
